Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

Many pumpkin spice flavored foods out there are not kind on your waistline at all but we have found an alternative way to enjoy fall’s most beloved pumpkin spice — in your bathroom!

If you love the smell of cinnamon, this one is for you. Even the sound of pumpkin spice sugar scrub makes us drool and you will be tempted to take a lick (or two).

Recipe:

  • 1 cup of finely ground brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon of allspice
  • ½ tablespoon of nutmeg
  • ½ tablespoon of cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teapsoon of vanilla oil (or essence)
  • ½-1 cup coconut oil

Put the brown sugar and spices in a bowl and then slowly add the coconut oil and stir as you go along. You can add a bit more oil if you prefer your scrub to be less grainy. Store in an air-tight container.

This scrub is quite rough, so if you like very gentle scrubs, this one may not be for you. But your skin would be so smooth and exfoliated afterwards!

The great part about this rich body scrub is that you don’t have to moisturize after rinsing off. The coconut oil will sink right into your skin very quickly, especially in cold dry weather, so just towel off and put on your PJs.

The scent will also linger which is so yummy — amazing that stuff in your pantry can make you smell like a goddess!
