Antioxidant Beauty Boosting Smoothie

You take yourself to facials and stick to a strict multi-step skincare regimen, but your skin is still lacking that glow — what gives?

The food that you put in your body is just as vital as the creams and lotions you line your bathroom cabinet with.

This creamy and dense smoothie is packed with glow-getting antioxidants and vitamin C that help to boost collagen production in your skin.

And we’ve also made a conscious effort not to load our superfood beauty smoothie with high sugar fruit because sugar causes wrinkles (yes, really).

The sweetness comes from a bit of apple and the goji berries that are little nuggets of antioxidants bursting with awesome flavor. To make this smoothie more filling, we’ve added coconut oil (good fats are great for moisturizing the skin from within!) and cashews for protein and creaminess.

 

Recipe:

  • 2 cups of distilled water
  • ½ cup of frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup of frozen raspberries
  • ½ medium apple
  • 1 teaspoon of acai powder
  • 2 tablespoons of goji berries
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 5-6 cashews
  • 1 scoop of Sparkle Skin Boost with Verisol

 

Blend all the ingredients in a high-speed blender till smooth.
