Blood Orange Smoothie

Blood Orange Smoothie

We love using seasonal produce — we sometimes just grab them and then decide what to do with them.

Blood oranges are a little sweeter than regular ones and their dark red hue would make for a very pretty pink smoothie.

And of course, our orange-flavored collagen peptide powder would emphasize the blood orange in the smoothie and will make it a citrus bonanza, while giving your skin a radiant boost.

We tossed in some strawberries for more pink power and coconut yogurt for its tropical flavor and probiotics.

For a thicker texture, protein powder works well with frozen fruit and makes smoothies more satisfying.

Recipe:

  • 1 blood orange, peeled
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 4-5 frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut yogurt
  • 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop Sparkle Skin Boost with VERISOL
