Classic Blueberry Smoothie

by Derek O'Neil

Did you know that vitamin C is one of the building blocks of producing collagen in your skin? Here is a classic blueberry smoothie that is supercharged with vitamin C from Sparkle Collagen,  fresh orange fruit, and antioxidant-rich blueberries.

Your skin needs vitamin C to help fight free radical damage, repair skin cells, and help aid collagen production to maintain elasticity and keep wrinkles at bay.

For a smoothie that is so simple and easy to make, this classic berry smoothie is a beauty powerhouse full of delicious nutrients.

Recipe:

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 frozen banana

1/2 orange, peeled

2 tablespoons of plain coconut yogurt

1 tablespoon of flax seed meal

1 tablespoon of vanilla protein powder

1½ cup of filtered water

Dash of vanilla

1 scoop of Sparkle Collagen with Verisol®

Tip: You can use any plain yogurt of your choice but we love coconut yogurt for that extra-tasty tropical flavor!
