DIY Ginger Ale

DIY Ginger Ale

We’ve got a simple tutorial on how to make a healthier ginger ale. For fans of this classic soda, the raw spiciness of true ginger flavor is a heavenly experience.

The secret to a refreshing ginger ale is a pinch of citrus. We’ve added a scoop of our orange flavored collagen peptide powder in this recipe, not only to boost the taste, but to turn this all-time favorite drink into a beauty beverage.

Collagen peptides boost natural collagen production in your skin — leaving it radiant and plump.

Recipe:

  • 1-inch knob of ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • 1 scoop of Sparkle Skin Boost with Verisol
  • Pinch of stevia or choice of sweetener* (optional)
  • 1½ cups of soda water

In a food processor, blend the ginger with two tablespoons of water and lemon juice to form a paste. Add a bit more water if necessary. In a glass, pop in a scoop of Sparkle Skin Boost with the ginger paste, pour in the soda water slowly. Stir to dissolve, let the mixture rest to let the ginger settle at the bottom of the glass, then add ice.

If you don’t like having ginger pieces in your drink, add more water to your ginger paste and strain. You will get raw ginger juice concentrate and all you need is to top it off with soda.

*Other healthy sweetener options are coconut sugar, xylitol, or monk fruit.
