Energizing Pre-workout Smoothie

Are you one of those people who can’t do a big workout on an empty stomach? We have an easy-to-disgest and energizing green smoothie that is perfect as pre-workout fuel.

The key ingredient here is green tea. It has enough caffeine to give your energy and concentration levels a boost and has a mild enough flavor not to affect the taste of your smoothie. The skin-loving antioxidants are a bonus, too.

Recipe:

  • ½ cup frozen mango
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 cups green tea (cooled)
  • 1 scoop Sparkle Skin Boost

Mango and pineapple have fructose to add to the energizing power of this smoothie and make it taste refreshingly tropical.

Did you know that chia seeds were the fuel of ancient Aztec warriors who needed strength and endurance to run long distances?
