Green Tea Lemonade

Green Tea Lemonade

We are huge fans of green tea at Sparkle HQ! This humble beverage is packed full of antioxidants and polyphenols, plus it also keeps your metabolism up and burns calories.

Now that it’s summer, it’s way too hot to drink this in a mug with warm water. Kick it up a notch — add lemon and lime juice, slip in slices of citrus, ice, and some Sparkle for a beauty boost.

There’s no added sugar to this recipe since Sparkle is naturally flavored with stevia.

Recipe:

Serves 4

Directions:

Steep a green tea bag in one cup of hot water for five minutes. Take the tea bag out and pop in four scoops of Sparkle.

You can put in more scoops of Sparkle if you want to take the tartness away from the citrus juice. We go by a general rule of thumb that one serving of orange powder dissolves well in eight fluid ounces of water.

Once the Sparkle powder is dissolved, transfer to a large jug or bottle and add three cups of water. Add the lemon and lime juice and then slip in slices of citrus.

Pour over ice in a glass and it’s ready to drink.
