Feel better with this deliciously spicy, immune-boosting tea that has a great combo of alkalizing and anti-inflammatory ingredients — plus it’s packed with vitamin C!
Recipe:
Bring the water and ginger to a boil. Allow the water to cool till it’s not too hot on the tongue (or touch) before adding the lemon juice and Sparkle. It’s important not to zap the enzymes and vitamins in the lemon juice with hot boiling water. Strain out or eat the ginger.
Why this ginger lemon tea is so good for you? The hot water helps with congestion by opening up mucous membranes; the ginger promotes increased blood circulation which improves nutrient absorption, while staving off nausea, sore throats, aching muscles and joint pain; the cayenne pepper also has a warming effect and aids disgestion and conjestion; lemon juice is a great source of vitamin C that is crucial to boosting immunity; and finally, Sparkle has added vitamin C and adds a refreshing zing to this tea.
Tip: You can consume Sparkle in cold and hot beverages — the temperature of your drink would not affect the efficacy of Sparkle.
