Papaya Coconut Smoothie

Papaya Coconut Smoothie

With the weather becoming more summery, we are inspired by tropical flavors to transport us flavor-wise to a white sandy beach and crystal blue waters.

We’ve often featured pineapple and mango in our recipes but this is the first time we’ve given attention to the rich and colorful papaya.

The orange hue suggests that it’s rich in antioxidants such as vitamin C and betacarotene and its musky nature can be an acquired taste for some.

But we put a citrusy coconuty spin in this smoothie recipe where we add lemon juice and our orange-flavored collagen peptide powder on top of a rich-tasting base of coconut milk.

Recipe:

  • 1 small ripe papaya
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown rice syrup (optional)
  • 1 scoop Sparkle Skin Boost with Verisol

Ice

Serves 2
