Refreshing Green Tea Brew

Refreshing Green Tea Brew

Instead of reaching for another cup of coffee, try this warm green tea for a more gentle restorative effect than a jolt of frenetic energy. Lose the shakes and embrace a more steady refreshment.

Green tea gives you energy and helps to relax you at the same time. So when you are feeling that mid-afternoon dip, make this delicious brew that will not only rejuvenate your spirits but will feed your body anti-oxidants, vitamin C, and give you warmth on a cold winter’s day.

Recipe:

Boil the green tea with fresh ginger for 10 minutes. If you like yours especially zingy, use more ginger. Take the tea bag and ginger out, and then add a scoop of Sparkle Skin Boost. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes, and then add the lemon juice.

Tip: Never put lemon juice in hot boiling water because it’ll kill the vitamins and minerals that are so great. A good test is to take a sip of your tea — if it doesn’t burn your tongue, it should be fine to add the lemon juice.
