Dragonfruit Smoothie Bowl
This is a stunning breakfast bowl to wake up to. How can you not keep looking at it? Pink dragonfruit (or also called pitaya) has a vibrant fuchsia hue that carries a ton of antioxidants — your skin will eagerly lap this stuff up.
The bonus? It’s so easy to make and is splendidly delicious. If you can get your hands on the fresh, uncut, whole fruit — all the better, but pre-packed frozen pitaya smoothie packs work just as well.
The slightly tart flavor works well with other fruit and adds an extra fresh zest to your smoothie.
Recipe:
- 1 cup of frozen pink dragonfruit
- ½ cup of frozen pineapple
- 1 medium frozen banana
- 1½ cup of filtered water
- 1 tablespoon of flax seed meal
- 1 tablespoon of rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 1 scoop of Sparkle Skin Boost with Verisol®
Whizz everything in a high-speed blender, pour into a bowl, and add toppings like coconut flakes, kiwi, blueberries, and hemp seeds.
Our addition of Sparkle Skin Boost will help saturate your skin with collagen peptides that keep your skin plump and glowing.
This smoothie bowl is loaded with fiber, antioxidants, healthy fats, and protein. If you need a bit more heft to your smoothie bowl, pop in a scoop of vanilla protein powder and add some granola on top.
