Green Smoothie Bowl

If you are a green smoothie fan, you will love a green smoothie bowl for breakfast. What is it really? It’s a thick green smoothie you put in a bowl with any number of toppings to make it into a more filling breakfast than simply drinking a smoothie.

We love adding avocado to our green smoothie bowl to make it extra creamy and thick. The good fats in avocado are satiating and keep your skin plump and glowing.

To make this an even more powerful beauty meal, we pop in a scoop of collagen peptide powder to nourish your skin from within.

 

Recipe:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ frozen orange
  • 1 tablespoon of flax meal*
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla protein powder*
  • 1 tablespoon of oat flour*
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 scoop of Sparkle Skin Boost with Verisol

*optional – these ingredients give this breakfast bowl more heft, fiber, and nutrition.

 

Put all the ingredients into a blender and then pour the thick smoothie into a bowl. You can customize your toppings to be anything you want. Our favourites are granola, chia seeds, cacao nibs, and berries. Coconut flakes, goji berries, and sliced banana also taste awesome.
