Summer Cobb Salad

We’ve made a super light version out of the classic cobb salad. Nixing the blue cheese and bacon, we chose to focus on omega fatty acid-rich ingredients like extra virgin olive oil, avocado and shrimp.

For the dressing, we’ve taken a simple Italian herb vinaigrette and suped it up with our citrus flavored collagen peptide powder that will add turn your salad into a beauty powerhouse.

The colors on your plate will pop if you line up the ingredients in rows. Visual appeal is so important to whet your appetite, especially if you are not naturally inclined to chow down on a salad.

 

Salad recipe:

  • 6-8 boiled shrimp
  • ½ small cucumber, sliced
  • 5-6 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, sliced
  • ½ avocado, cubed
  • 1½ cups mixed baby leaves

 

Dressing recipe:

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon mixed Italian herbs
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 scoop Sparkle Skin Boost with Verisol
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper

 

For the dressing, put all the ingredients in a small bowl and stir everything up till the Sparkle Skin Boost powder is dissolved.

Assemble the ingredients on a plate and drizzle the dressing over the salad. This makes for the perfect summer lunch — not heavy on the stomach and it’ll help your skin look great.
