Turmeric Wellness Shot

Sometimes you need a shock to the system — in a good way — and to hit the reset button. For an energizing kick in the butt, this turmeric wellness shot is just the answer.

Turmeric is a powerhouse ingredient that fights aging, balances sugar levels, and reduces depression among its many benefits.

We added a scoop of Sparkle Skin Boost to give this wellness shot a beauty boost and to balance out the strong turmeric taste with its refreshing orange flavor and stevia.

This shot is also chock full of vitamin C from the lemon and Sparkle Collagen which gives this drink an added 100mg.

Recipe:

  • 2-inch knob of turmeric ginger
  • 1 inch-knob of ginger
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • 2 tablespoons brown rice syrup
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 scoop Sparkle Skin Boost

Whiz all the ingredients in a blender and then strain the ginger fiber out with a sieve. Pour into a glass and drink it in one single gulp.

Tip: This is quite an earthy tasting drink and would make even the healthiest of health warriors shudder a little but it will deliver a big dose of goodness and energy to your system, so bottoms up!
